Cloud 10 is a long weekend filled with music, joy and laughter in a secret enchanted location in Cornwall.

This Shangri-La mix greeted our guests as they arrived at the enchanted Cloud10 site and the music never stopped for the next three days......played on a nightclub standard PA and also streamed across the site on portable sound rigs......this is the soundscape of Cloud10.

Recorded on 4 x linked CDJ3000s.

2025_09 Cloud10 Shangri-La by MisterB

I mixed this live at Cloud10 on 4 networked CDJs - all beat and key synced and with channel faders mostly all up; blending playing with filters and all synced with an A9 digital Mixer.  The rain is 852Hz meditation samples - more towards the end (Solfeggio frequency - but also Bladerunner movie inspired; I picked up a rain & thunderstorm CD for this). I also used one of Catharine's mediation CDs in the performance (741Hz Throat Chakra)

This is just a clip as so many have been asking for it.

I'm getting the original longer version professionally mastered  as it's too big a job for me.

I'll publish the longer final mastered version here in a few weeks.

(there is a scratch or "fluff on the needle" moment 5 minutes in - sorry - I could fix that but it is what it is 😉) 

Recorded live from my PLAYdifferently MODEL1 Analogue Mixer connected to 4 networked CDJ3000s. Interesting to compare this to the punchy sound from the Pioneer DJM-A9 we used on Sunday.

This set was a warm-up mix of favourites and requests and was a fun night of dance, disco. trance and house music. Tidyjim followed me with a wicked set on both Saturday and Sunday at Cloud10.

UK based professional, with three decades of electronic music DJ experience since playing full-on progressive house at raves and nightclubs all over UK in the early 90s. I don't specialise these days; I'll perform what the audience wants to hear and then dance together with them until dawn.  I might have played disco last weekend in a rural barn, it's middle-eastern house next weekend in a bar, followed by a retro trance club night, and then and a techno main set next month in an underground bunker. I also build bespoke shows for dedicated audiences in small venues.

Good music improves your life, music is the answer, and let's not talk about genres and styles the DJ wants to play but instead what the dancefloor wants to hear.  Music is a feeling not a genre.

I curate and play audiophile music and I really do have that on vinyl or Edison cylinder as well as digitally, of course.
