Greetings Portland Area Musicians!

FunkSwiTch is looking for a funky, tasteful, dynamic drummer. 

We’re creating a family of players that reflects the beautiful colors and genders of our community. Join us in creating a real community band.

Right now, FunkSwiTch is us (Gabe and Dave). We met at an organized jam in May 2021 at a studio in Portland. 
Soon after that first jam, we started exchanging ideas.
Since those early days, we’ve created a lot of music, Identified venues to target for performance, and researched photographers/videographers for initial marketing. We’re also keeping an eye on the scene, in order to identify other bands to partner with to create successful shows and find events to play.

In FunkSwiTch, composer and multi-instrumentalist Gabe sings and plays keys, sax & flute.  Dave plays congas, bongo, and auxiliary percussion.
 
We look forward to hearing from interested players.
