Originally from Allerton in Liverpool, Gary McDonnell learned music playing the trombone, but soon discovered the potential of a drum kit. Headphones on, he would play to Led Zeppelin and other 70s groups.

Gary's music career started early. Signed to Warner Brothers at the tender age of sixteen, he has honed his skills through the mastering of most instruments. An accomplished guitar player, Gary also plays the bass and the piano, but the drums remain his instrument of choice and excellence.

Gary has collaborated with many top acts of the 80s and 90s and this album is the result of a collaboration with World-renowned Los Angeles producer Danny Saber.

MOEA was born when Gary linked up with old friends and more recent encounters. Pendulum is the result of years of inspiration, as well as the input of all band members and their individual styles.
