Alien Dread - Thankful Dub

A track I just found. I worked with Neville back in 2007/2008, we did some photo shoots and hung out. He was a talented musician and worked with inner city youth in Birmingham / UK, teaching drumming.

This particular track was originally released in the mid 90s and has that sound.

Cornerstone - Inner City Reggae

No longer easy to find commercially. Was available on an album called Foundational Roots and re-issued on a variety of compilation albums from Reggae Retro Records. Last released on cassette a few years ago. This is the cassette version, produced by Alien Dread.

The track was taken from the Roots Vibration album, which should be available on CD - but you might need to search a little.

A limited edition cassette was produced in 2013 featuring a remastered selection of tracks taken from the Reggae Retro archives; many featuring Martin Campbell & Alien Dread.

As far as I know, there are no units left, but you could try contacting the guy who runs the Iron Sound Records label, as he may have some units left.

A really smooth number plucked from an old album called Cool Breeze which was engineered & written by King Melody with Terry Parkinson supplying sublime horn work. This is probably my favourite track on the album, but all of the tracks shine.
