Well, what about Tuesday? Hybrid house and techno masters Juju & Jordash return to Dekmantel Records with yet another outstanding release. Their relentless work ethos makes you wonder if these guys sleep at all. Maybe that’s what Tuesdays are for? 

DKMNTL 043 is a three-tracker and a fine display of Gal Aner’s and Jordan Czamanski’s next-level, improv based way of painting records. ‘Monday Mellow’ is a dubbed out, twisted and subtly emerging house groover, while ‘Wednesday Something’ continues the journey with a dense electronic jazz-tinged stomper. ‘Thursday, Heavy.’ demonstrates their full range, combining eerie melodic synth excursions with a jagged bassline – an out of this world, destructive yet classy house bomb. As always their intergalactic excursions are superbly executed. Let’s give them some rest on those Tuesdays.

Well, 2016 was a bit of a mixed bag wasn't it? It's certainly a year that I wont forget in a hurry - for all sorts of reasons - good and bad. However the one common denominator throughout pretty much all of it has been music. Whether its what you turn too to make you happy or whether its the cause of what occasionally makes you sad, there is no denying that music is the one thing that brings us all together to share what is best about being a human. So here's to sharing and caring. We can all do more of both in 2017 but I want to sign off for the holidays by saying a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all for caring about my music.
