Did anyone get the lyrics? I would@like them. 

As i cleaned my environment and had soundcloud playing on the background, this song came up. As I walked around using steam to lighten/clean the air, I heard some glitching from the song in very specific areas I would walk by. After I finished, I rewound the song and noticed that the glitching had nothing to do with the song. Kinda cool, kinda trippy.

such a beautiful song. are you comfortable with others singing this in sing circles, with artist acknowledgement? also, I note the behind the track has some lyrics. would you consider putting in the changing first words? I can pick some of them up, but wouldn't want to make an error in hearing. thank you

Background:
This song came to me in the Redwoods of California. Like many of my other songs, not recorded here, there are hints of other languages and traditions present here. I've been told that this one sounds Lakota. 

Ceremonial Context:
This is my song for invoking the Spirits and Forces that guide me, those Medicines that I have formed relationship with, the Elemental beings that have taught me the ways of the Medicine Path. I traditionally sing this song as a "Calling Song" in Ceremonies, as it calls the Spirits to the Ceremonial space.

Oftentimes, in many types of indigenous ceremony, the ceremony begins with an invocation of the Spirits & Forces to come & join the ceremony. Oftentimes, this is in the form of a song. For many indigenous people, these forces can be anything from Plant Spirits, to the Elemental Spirits, to Ancestors, Spirit Guides, Guardians & Protectors of Land, etc. etc. etc. 

As a ceremonial singer, I feel that these types of songs are extremely important. For a person holding a container for ceremonial participants, calling the guides and spirits that that person has created deep connection with is highly important. This is because the "shaman" or curandera, has spent their lives developing deep relationships to Spirit & the many forms that He/She takes. By calling forth, into the ceremony by name, the Spirit forces that he/she works closely with, the other ceremonial participants may come to know them by their presence there.
