Living on Fire For God

-8 SEPT 2024-
Stu continues preaching on the Kingdom of God. If we know what to look for, we can give ourselves to seeking it! We are God's seed sown into the world that we may grow and produce a harvest of righteousness- allowing the fruit of the Spirit to flourish and pointing people to Jesus (Matt 13 vs 24-43).

Stu is preaching about seeking the Kingdom of God and here he preaches from Romans 4 about Abraham's faith and how he believed the word of God, even though it seemed as though God hadn't come through for him. Faith is the key to laying hold of the Kingdom of God, not our own works.

Jen starts off by sharing a word from Proverbs and encourages us to read the book and glean Holy Spirit's wisdom from it and then Stu preaches on being a follower of Jesus. A disciple is a follower- we can't claim to be His if we don't imitate Him.

Stu shared on tithing and the heart of giving to the Lord what belongs to him. We're not under the law when it comes to tithing, we're under the grace of God, which means we should be generous, cheerful givers! Take a listen!

Bringing the Tithe

This Sunday we took communion together in a lengthy meditation on what Jesus physically endured and how much He paid for for us. It was holy and heart-breaking looking at the Cross and beholding the Perfect Lamb of God. We ended with a call for forgiveness. Take a listen!

Passover and The Holy Blood of Jesus

Stu shared on coming free from the trap of offence through humility to God's word and forgiveness. By his love and grace, Jesus doesn't hold our sins against us, instead he freely forgave us- how much more should we live in forgiveness towards one another? Tribe had the honour of hosting Mat who is an evangelist with a passion to see broken, bound people set free by the power of the Blood of Jesus. He taught specifically on deliverance and prayed a prayer of personal deliverance at the end of his message. Take a listen and be blessed!

Grant is an anointed leader in the body of Christ, and a great gift to the Tribe Church. 
Every believer is called to pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus, and to live in deep relationship with those in our community. 
When we strip away pretense and politics, but value depth with one another, we step into a beautiful freedom!
There is a testimony about healing from cancer right at the end, which is yours to receive!

We are a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church in the Muldersdrift area, Johannesburg. We value family, joy, authenticity, and most of all, the presence of God. 
Our conviction is that we are saved purely by the Grace of God- the gift of salvation which Jesus gave us when He died on the cross to atone for our sinful nature- and that we are created for good works through faith.
