Blutch unveils a new track from his forthcoming debut album ‘Terre Promise’ (January 2022) with ‘Poplar’, one of the most eclectic track from the album.

After breakbeat and UKG explorations on ‘Cobalan’ and ‘River’, Blutch unveils a new colours palette on ‘Poplar’: an introduction sounding like a tribute to Boards of Canada’s ‘Dayvan Cowboy’ or ‘Baba O’Riley’ by The Who, mixed with one of the cultures that has animated him the most since his teen years, hip-hop. At the crossroads of styles, Blutch signs a new libertarian and borderless piece, fundamentally contemporary.

‘Poplar’ refers to the street where he grew up. As a nod to the youth, a piece thought to give strength and energy through its great piano’s chords, sublimated by Fabien Lahaye and recorded at Brest’s Conservatory in France.

Airy and melancholic, smooth and organic, a meticulous production with great alchemy between plenty of influences, from hip hop to electronic or pop.

Two remixes of ‘Poplar’ will be released in November by two well respected French producers: Correspondant label head Jennifer Cardini and Maud Geffray, member of Scratch Massive.

Emerging from the bubbling Kyiv scene Lugovskiy has built an early following from a number of punching releases the likes of New York's Nervous Records and Melbournes clipp.art records. He now returns on Berlin based Closer to Truth Label with his Balcony Party EP, a 3 tracker of bouncing minimal house tracks.

Skanky Chord, is a rhythmic groover. Atmospheric chords are offset with a smattering of synth droplets and precision percussion. Swelling pads on Downhill mark it out as a track that will raise tension on the dancefloor. The EP title track Balcony Party releases all the energy that has been carefully built, it is a peak time dance floor roller, carefully honed to deliver a blend of energy and emotion that only certain producers can attain.

Due for release on the 19th November 2021 via Closer To Truth.

The musical conceptual journey of the Bliss EP by the young artist Dante starts with the question "Where should I go"? One or the other will have asked themselves this question more than once and was not always able to answer it immediately. It is sometimes a long way to your own happiness, which does not always lead straight and is peppered with many questions. This path is drawn by Dante with atmospherically driving chords and pads in combination with floating basses and swirling melodies. The soundscape is accompanied by crisp drums that range from jungle to house beats across genres. The powerful sound provides a very unique drive and bliss.
