During the final boss i thought this was super underwhelming of a theme. But after revisiting i like it a lot

@user-572874069 "rushing with filler" sounds contradictory. XC2 has cringy design choice and crappy earlygame combat, but the story, characters and worldbuilding, though slow paced, are well made and compelling. Pyra/Mythra and Nia particularly so.

In BOC difficulty Corvin was practically a win condition, Christ.
