‘Cause though that woman’s gone, she’s left her memory here behind.
And now, I’m holding on by trying to drink her off my mind.
I’m just sitting in the corner with the cigarette smoke
reliving my old memories, broken dreams and shattered hope.
Though I’ve had three or four I always want, ‘Just one more’
‘til I stagger out the door, you’ll know just what I’m waiting for

‘ Cause I’m sitting here once again with a drinking glass and listenin’
to songs of pain, tears and rain, loneliness and all it brings.
And, if it takes me all night long, I’ll stay in here and drink ‘till dawn.  
‘Til the pain is finally gone and her memory leaves
So when the band takes requests, they know the words that I’ll say next

Another Whiskey Song

An electric guitar instrumental somewhat similar to Dire Straits. It's what I think they would sound like if they were recording in today's music environment. The biggest difference is electrically enhanced drums and busier rhythm guitars. Also, the drums are more upfront in this mix.

The Truth About Lies

Walking in Your Sleep is my attempt at humor, i.e. if you are old enough you will get it.
Actually on 6/9 my good friend BobH came over and we jammed and recorded a rhythm guitar track he made up on the spot! Bob mentioned that he would like to hear a steel guitar lead. So I deleted my track and via my keyboard controller played a lap steel guitar VSTi. Band-in-a-Box is supplying the rest of the tracks.

Mixed Dementia attributed to both Vascular and Altzheimers disease, is a terminal diagnosis where we say goodbye to our loved ones every day over a long period of time.  At 50 years of marriage, this is our time for wife and I to share our long goodbye together, one last time.
