2016 is the final solo album from Lil Shit Stain, following 8 years after the success of the debut solo effort "Views From The 803," and only 2 years after the previous collaborative effort with Pink Salmon, 2022's "Down-South Playalistic Funky Ass Music." 2016 is a full circle moment, with productions selections consisting of only type beats with upload dates from that year, the album really feels like a trip back in time. After years of evolving and trying out different sounds, 2016 takes us back to where it all began. With features from OGs such as Pink Salmon, Myke Da Dyke, & Tobasco Sauce, as well as newcomers such as T. Bone Smith, Stiffrag, Gerald Storey, & Slifka, and an appearance from the legend Yuno Miles. 2016 is a breathe of fresh air as well as a nostalgic masterpiece. One hell of a way to end an era.
