Inspired by Cieciu Fall of the Vanguard ...

After years of hiding, humans found planet holding one of sources of local space energy disturbance - later called the citadels of silence. Elite vanguard reaches the dungeon that is the entrance to the citadel, but is not able to secure the location. Citadel seems to be not guarded in any form, but most of vanguard go insane or commit suicide at the entrance. Gathered with great effort shock group is withdrown at the last minute to prevent total disaster.
Location around entrance become "experimental" laboratory to find possibility of surviving the guarding terror.

Vangard is falling (Inspired by Cieciu)

Short and simple demo track with OctaSine (https://www.octasine.com/) FM synth VST2 plugin, using  only sounds from the plugin (10 instances).

Added chorus, reverb and compression from LV2 plugins in the DAW (Ardour 7 on Linux).

All sounds programmed from scratch by myself.

Submission for LMC19, the Libre Music Challenge for June 2023. All sounds were created with the Odin2 synthesizer.

This track was made with Ardour on Linux. Other than Odin2, other plugins used were:
- LSP equalizer
- x42 compressor and limiter
- Airwindows reverb and tape
- Dragonfly hall reverb

This one started as an exercise in (sound-)desgining Deadmau5 plugs, progressed into vocal processing with pitch shifting and linear predictive coding and finally - though a copy and paste accident - it dropped into rumble techno 😁
