Flowers weeping into grey dendrite 
And no one but no one tries
To push past the lies

Only witness of your colour
Is the litmus in the cupboard 
Never painted never bothered
Once was bluejay now a buzzard

I write this story
Of a little boy
Who is crying 
And vying, pursuit of more toys

But his life is cut short by the wheel of time
And his friends all but beauty 
Zeal for crime

I talk to endless people
Way up there
And I wonder 
What's your story
Why do you care

Tearing up my rhymes
Stirred and sickly
Murdered meekly 
In a clone disguise 

People crying,
people dying all maligned
But where will we be
weary weeping 
Fly up high

And we wonder what 
we told you by and by
Leave you scorn and cheated
Worn a sunder, heated 
Torn and cleaved
