Kaval is launching its new KVLDUB vinyl series. Only 100 copies available. For this first opus, the influences range from dub to UK techno on the A side and from dembow to Uk Funky on the B side.

The main idea is to produce an effective record that can be played without restraint on your sound system. Many thanks to B-SIDE Factory for their work and to Arthur aka Qant for the exceptional mastering.

Brazilian DJ, producer, and one of the minds behind seminal imprint Tandera Records, the one and only Tuxe expands his sonic universe with his debut EP CEM POR CENTO!

Born in Salvador and raised between the cities of Feira de Santana and Aracaju, Tuxe’s journey through music has been largely shaped by movement. From personal migrations to the paths between cities, scenes and venues, great movement is heard and a journey portrayed in these sounds here!

Six years within São Paulo’s queer underground scene shaped Tuxe’s plays with distortion, chopped vocals, and synthetic textures as a response to the hyperstimulation of Latin America’s largest metropolis. At the same time, melodic pads and layers of percussion bring memories of tropical rhythms and landscapes that have shaped his ear and repertoire.

Written between São Paulo, a tour across Brazil’s Northeast, and his second run through Europe, the EP explores the tension between warmth and machinery, memory and what coexists. Each track stands as a fragment of an identity in transit.

CEM POR CENTO is a gesture of affirmation and intention: being fully present, even while in motion.

Tandera Records is a multidisciplinary record label and collective based in São Paulo, Brazil, dedicated to producing and promoting Brazilian electronic music while strengthening its connections across Latin America. Founded in 2024, the label has released 4 EPs, 2 double singles, an album, and a V/A compilation featuring 26 artists, highlighted in Bandcamp’s “Best Latin Music” column in July 2024.
