So calm and elegant.. It gives me a good feeling of nostalgia for some reason, maybe it reminds me of the time when my family and I listened to more wonderful music like this... I really liked it, Andrew! It will be one of my favorites. 👏🏻👏🏻

Empathy and melodic sensitivity combine in this sweetly touching demo from Andy Dolphin in which he tries to come to terms with the sense of pain and loss he experiences as he tries to reconcile his aging parents' loss of memory. Well-written, well sung with backing vocals amplifying the poignancy.

I am geting used to wonderful songs from you, with themes which are so "different" but so relevant to so many. You really deserve to get these songs recognised for what they are, I wish you all the luck you deserve.

I just wanted to try out whether I could do a Boogie. This is the outcome. Hope you like it and it gives you good energy. 

Composition-wise: The left is a consistent 1/8th Boogie base line throughout the piece and typically consisting of a lower chromatic line and an upper constant note (e.g., C0-C1-D0-C1-Eb0-C1-E0-C1). The right hand dances over this with a partly Staccato theme that is loosened up by repeated Syncopes, Delays and advanced notes. The piece starts in a joyous C and modulates over its course to the minor third and ends in the warmer (and for me richer) Eb. 

The track has been recorded on a Roland FP-90.
The Cover art was created with Stable Diffusion which I continue fuddling around with. I think it is already a far jump from my previous „Sheherazades Tale“ Cover art but still not perfect. In particular, I continue to wonder what kind of music might be played with the very peculiar arrangement of white and black keys on the keyboard.

Die Kraft der Musik.
Ich habe es bewusst Pianomeditationen genannt. Zart und mitfühlend.
Wenn auch andere Instrumente begleitend mitwirken.
Ein Hauch von fließenden und wellenförmigen Klangharmonien.
Hier also die Fortsetzung meiner Klangresonanzreise mit diesem fünften Teil der Pianomeditationen.

Klaviermusik einmal anders arrangiert mit zarten umwobenen Klangformen. 
Das Klavier bleibt immer noch im Vordergrund der Komposition.
Jedes Klavier hat seine eigene Mystik und Klang. 
Sich auf den Klang einlassen und intensiv hineinhören ist gleichermaßen auch eine meditative Fokussierung auf die Musik.
Folgt den Klängen ohne Gedanken. Nur auf sich selbst zu konzentrieren und entspannen. 
Musik ist heilsam für uns Menschen. 

Ich habe frei von allen Mustern der Klanggestaltung mich von den Klängen inspiriert leiten lassen. 
Improvisiert, mich dem Gefühl jeder Taste von Ton zu Ton leitend hingegeben.
Ohne auf einen richtigen oder falschen Ton zu achten.
Denn eigentlich gibt es keinen falschen Ton. Alles ist Klang.
Ich komponiere nicht, ich werde komponiert.
Die Komposition ist bereits da, ich horche in die Stille.
Das Leben ist eine Komposition.

Jeder Körper ist anders und hat unterschiedliche Schwingungen.

So mit starte ich eine musikalische Reise mit den Tasten die ich liebe.
Eine Klaviermeditation zur Entspannung, zur Erholung, zur Heilung unserer Klangkörper.

Ich wünsche Euch liebevolle, beruhigende und entspannte Klangmomente.

“The keys I love” Part V. (December 31, 2023)

The power of music.
I deliberately called it piano meditations. Tender and compassionate.
If other instruments also contribute.
A touch of flowing and undulating sound harmonies.
So here is the continuation of my sound resonance journey with this fifth part of the piano meditations.

Piano music arranged in a different way with delicate, interwoven sound forms.
The piano still remains at the forefront of the composition.
Every piano has its own mystique and sound.
Getting involved with the sound and listening intensively is also a meditative focus on the music.
Follow the sounds without thoughts. Just concentrate on yourself and relax.
Music is healing for us humans.

Free from all patterns of sound design, I let myself be inspired by the sounds.
Improvised, surrendering to the feeling of each key guiding me from note to note.
Without paying attention to a right or wrong tone.
Because there is actually no wrong tone. Everything is sound.
I don't compose, I am composed.
The composition is already there, I listen to the silence.
Life is a composition.

Every body is different and has different vibrations.

So I'm starting a musical journey with the keys I love.
A piano meditation for relaxation, recovery, and healing of our sound bodies.
I wish you loving, calming and relaxed sound moments.
