Many people from their earliest years grow up hearing the “famous” stories of the Bible – the ones that transcend even the Christian landscape.  How many leadership books reference David and Goliath?  Or the story of Joseph and his technicolor dream coat, or Noah and the flood?  Stories like Jonah being swallowed by the great fish or Daniel escaping the den of lions shape us in ways that we don’t even realize.  They teach us about trust, faith, hope, doubt, rebellion, forgiveness, courage, joy, and more without realizing it.  The characters of the stories, and the virtues they teach us, become part of who we are.

Over the next 7 weeks we are going to break down some of these famous stories and look at them through a new lens.  How is God still shaping us through these childlike tales of wonder?
