This includes covers of solemn songs, that I find rather peaceful, that I think some of you may find solace in.

A song I wrote for friend of mine dealing with depression. It was hard watching her trying to hide her sadness, and I felt like there was nothing I could do. The best was to just spend time with her and recognize that she isn't okay.

Of course, another cover of The 1975. What the hell do you expect. This one's called "She Lays Down". A few weeks before they released the album, they released the song titles, and when I saw this one, I thought the title was quite suggestive and it might just be a song about sex. (I've also realised how wrong I was to assume and to relate this band with sex all the time. Though, their songs always indicate acts of sexual activities [they have a song called "Sex" fgs], I really wish that, that's not the only thing they'll always be co-related to. Tho', Matty does admit that he's slowly been evolving into a sex-symbol, it still saddens me how they're always, over-sexualised.)Only to find out, it's actually the complete opposite. It's about Matthew's mother's struggle with post-depression. It's a very sad, and heart-warming song that always brings me to tears. After recording this, I weeped. This song, I would like to dedicate to my wonderful Mum. Listening to the lyrics reminded me of your struggle. I love you.
