You do have a way. This one's got a very convincing small concert hall aspect to it.

Excuses For Aliens

The second of a planned series of extensions to my 2025 album OCHRE, recorded August 2025 in Birmingham. These brief, self-contained sketches are intended to sit alongside the original album, and to echo its themes and moods.

The whole piece is 100% based around one simple melodic motif.

It uses just one brilliant patch (4 violins and electronics) for Camel Audio's 'Alchemy' sample-based synthesizer - sound designer Simon Stockhausen.
