Shaft was quite simply Dublins foremost haven for the serious Clubber, tucked away just off Baggott Street in Dublin 4 it became the last port of call for all the people who knew about it. 

Shaft needed no advertisement or Flyers, Clubbers just know where it was, No 22 Ely Place.
Although now gone it is certainly not forgotten by anyone who was lucky enough to get in the Door, who could forget the lovely PJ and Derry and not for forgetting Big Noel and Michael who did the Door. 
These sets are a taster of what it was like back in the mid 90's @ one of Dublin's best underground clubs.

Recorded live on Halloween night down at Bunker for the Freaks on Friday old school party. Only managed to record my set, followed by Paddy Sheridan & a bit of Robbie Butlers set before the batteries went dead, sorry Gibbsey. 
Whopper night & some cracking tunes here so enjoy.

This is a Mix of Retro and House Tunes from 1990 to 1994 from 3 great clubs in Dublin that would later prove to set the standard on the Dublin Dance scene they are of course "The Olympic Ballroom" "the asylum" and "Sides D.C." later "Gravity.

The Mix starts off with a Big Sides anthem "Void - Orcana" and quickly progresses and moves through a few different styles and touches on iconic dance floor moments from each club. with tunes like "Sonexuno - Alchemy" from Asylum and "Westwon - Control" from Olympic days.

This is now finished. Thanks to everyone who has commented and shared this remix. Really appreciate the comments and feedback. I changed this a fair few times before eventually deciding to change it all again. But i promise that this is the finished article.
