Summer Vibes

I haven't kept much of what I recorded as a studio engineer in Nashville back in the 1990s, but one set that stands out is from a day in 1996 when my friend Bill Verdier came to the studio and, with guitar accompaniment from Peter O'Hanlan, laid down two excellent fiddle tracks for a project he was working on. I got chills hearing this as it was being played, and I still get chills 26 years later.

I learned today of Bill's passing, and I just wanted to offer up these two samples of his excellent musicianship. I'm glad I got to hear him. He will be missed.

***Tribute to the people of Ukraine, who have lost their lives in the current 2022 power struggle for territory...Also to the Russians that have been killed, because they were forced to go to war & it was unnecessary in the first & worst place!

04082022 Refrains

Had a pleasant morning fire roasting peppers. Three tracks of loose jamming in the the ambient groove vein - quick recording with minimal edits.

Pepperoasting

Much like (as when) Adriano finished the instrument track for "My Dear Lord", this was so exciting and interesting, I again had difficulty singing the final. But I think Adriano's Arrangement  as an arrangement without voice, deserves to "be out there!". Again, I, myself, hear the fifty piece orchestra with trumpets blaring; but then, all in HIS divine timing.
Thanks  for listening. 
And for those who like to "sing along" no matter what genre...here you go:

 Remember us...on Judgment Day"
I saw Michael, Gabriel...Raphael
Seven angels, I could not tell,
That voice returned for a last refrain,
Maybe this was not a dream?!

finally i found this recording from the archive made with octatrack in 2020.. my baby it's just returning from sweden due to repair issues a few days ago, so i've decided to put this project to another level.. i've used another recording made with the AAS ultra analog vst synth and add some field recordings made in the past years. i think this piece has the right atmosphere to be the sequel of this collection, inspired by the world of dreams, where every mad thing is possible.
Mixed in cubase.
