Welcome to Australia’s Pod of Science, part of the Pint of Science festival held across Australia and the greater world from the 13th to the 15th of May in 2024. 

Dr Theresa Larkin is an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong studying the complexities of how hormones are related to depression and its symptoms. Between her time spent educating Australia’s next generation of doctors and undertaking her groundbreaking research on the many roles of hormones in the body, Theresa has a dedicated passion for science communication; notably being named as one of Science and Technology Australia’s 2023 Superstars of STEM.
