Welcome to the first full episode of the Candidly Canadian Podcast, the One About Mental Health (& Mental Illness). It's a topic we're both passionate about and will likely touch upon in future episodes.

In this episode we cover everything from the basics of what mental health is to combatting stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental illnesses, shifting our language and how we use certain terms in our everyday vernacular, self-care and self-compassion, as well as how to support those in your life who may be struggling with mental health and/or mental illness.
