Lummer began in 1998 as a result of complete boredom. Singer/guitarist Bob Blevins met drummer Graeme Bews in high school. Lummer’s first jams consisted of Bob with his guitar and Graeme with a garbage can. With developing skills, and lots of time on their hands, Lummer began to take form. 

As luck with finding a bass player seemed none-existent, Lummer recruited guitarist Ryan Stevenson to add more strength, and a little class, to their somewhat undetermined sound. At this point, Lummer’s live experience was contently limited to a close group of friends over every Friday night at Bob's old apartment. As Lummer became a little more experienced, and a little tighter, they went on to meet the final member, bassist Chad Tetreault, at college. 

They quickly welcomed him to the band, to round out the sound, & add to the raw energy of this now solid foursome. With lots of work, and love for music, Lummer became a unique mix of nursery rhyme indie rock and power pop, and have been playing shows in and around the greater Toronto area.
