In times when they say Hip Hop is dead, out comes a breath of dope lyrics and truth from South Philly natives and brothers James Austin and Archie Jackson , or known on stage as Jim Jorden and Sul the Soldier.  James’ love of music started as a kid when his dad, a DJ, would play records at home. That love continued as his favorite artists Biggie, Tupac, Nas, and Jay-Z blasted the airwaves. Sul the Soldier took his love of music and freestyled in the neighborhood. Those inspired them to start writing, rhyming and recording music. Their lyrics are fueled by hardships as children, being shipped from home to home, a failed justice system, and having to be an adult at a young age. They flow about life on the streets, what’s going on and how to navigate this world.
