Uno de los artistas españoles que ya habían aparecido en el sello es el leonés Joton, que se estrenaba en el sello el pasado año con un tema en el EP de varios artistas RRR 012. Ahora vuelve a hacer acto de presencia en la discografía del sello ucraniano con un nuevo EP de cuatro temas titulado Extreme Measures que se publica el próximo lunes 1 de octubre y del que hoy estrenamos en exclusiva un tema: The Soinning Wheel. In this case, Withouside transforms ordinary, but captivating daily day sounds in the Turkish city of Istanbul. Using the call to prayer, street musicians, vendor’s rhythmic signatures, or the sound of waves on an intercontinental ferry crossing, the EP captures the sonic essence of this enchanted cosmopol and presents it in a fresh, creative context.

@whistleblower-records is a label founded by three music producing friends; Alan Fitzpatrick, Reset Robot plus Rhymos, and this techno-focused EP features five original track from Reset Robot.

This is Reset Robot’s sixth EP on the label he part owns and it follows his recent release on Hotflush run by Scuba, which was in the same techno style as this new release on Whistleblower.

"Is That A Big Word?" brings out the acid, that twists and morphs underneath the clatter of mechanical hi-hats, and the lead synth loops like a warning siren of imminent danger… perhaps of the killer bass drops that this track has hidden behind every twist and turn.

LA’s AXKAN releases two robust techno tracks on OMEN Recordings with an EP entitled ‘Torment’ that includes remixes from France’s UVB and Mexico’s Luis Flores.

‘Torment’ kicks things off with heavy, syncopated drums scattered around haunting modulations and winding distortion and continues with a dirty, Prophet-5 string pad which gives the release its unique and melancholic character.

The Weight

Story of the Moon is a superb production of new sounds blended with sheer crowd pleasureless. One of them explosive tracks that ignites the floor.

Yigitoglu uses dark and progressive sounds to open doors into the hearts of his audience. Seasoned in Istanbul’s vibrant scene, he released his first single ‘6 am’ on 1103 Musik Berlin in 2018. Following ‘6am’, ‘Hubble’ was released on Yin Yang Records and was featured on “Yin Yang Anthems 16” later attracting support from Joseph Capriati, Cristian Varela, Luigi Madonna, Paco Osuna, Akira Kayosa
among other household names. His first EP ‘Circle of Sin’ raised to #5 on the Beatport Top100 techno releases and #25 on the overall chart above works from the likes of Hidden Empire, Deborah De Luca and Pleasurekraft. 

He is now working on numerous projects towards establishing his own musical identity in the techno scene.
