'BOHO’s Jannowitz Records welcomes a label debut from Belgian melodic house & techno producer TNTS, whose original & functional techno track is complimented by a melodic remix from KIKO, plus a chunky rework from the label boss himself.
 
TNTS has forthcoming music on Oscar Aguilera’s HE-ART in addition to his previous releases on labels ranging from the iconic Global Underground to Sasha Carassi's Phobiq, of which DjMag selected his track "Lockdown" being one of the best & most original new alternative dance tracks of today.
 
He has the ability to reach the outsides of the dance music spectrum, supported by artists such as Citizen Kain (Suara), Undercatt (Diynamic), Nicolas Masseyeff (Herzblut), Sasha (Last Night On Earth), Steve Parry (Selador), Joris Voorn (Bedrock/Toolroom), and Giorgio Rusconi from Gregor Tresher's Break New Soil... Deeply melodic, sometimes dark, often melancholic.
 
KIKO is a true legend. An early student of French techno, next to Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Laurent Garnier, The Hacker, Philippe Zdar (Cassius). Not only known for his 1999 hit "World Cup", but in recent times best known for his quality releases on labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Suara, Noir, Get Physical, 1605, and today has a firm grip on the Beatport charts with his monster track "Pancho Villa" on Tale Of Us's Afterlife.
 
Jannowitz Records label owner BOHO has a style that blends tough percussion with techy elements and strong melodies, which is a combination leading to his music being a feature of other labels such as Sian's Octopus, Senso Sounds and Yoshitoshi Recordings.
 
This is a beautifully balanced release featuring the dark tension and acid tinges of the original’s minimal/tech style, before the more alternative/indie dance remixes by BOHO and KIKO close it with epic style.'

Born in London, raised in Thailand, and now based in Berlin, Aaroon possesses a worldliness that inexorably manifests itself in his music by informing both emotional breadth and stylistic diversity. The DJ and producer’s E.P. Cry for Kashmir is simultaneously a statement on half-forgotten crises occurring around the world, an optimistic nudge towards global peace, and a testament to the power of art, created on the belief that music can physically affect anything from a human brain down to the structure of a snowflake. Feeling, technical dexterity, and raw emotional expression play out across the “little stories” of this release, as Aaroon puts it.

“It’s a Bad Day” by Jeffrey Lulanaj is a brooding indie-folk track with a raw, minimalist edge. Built on a foundation of sparse, stumbling percussion and melancholic acoustic guitar strums, it carries a gritty urban texture. Lulanaj’s vocals, rough yet intimate, weave through the mix, delivering introspective lyrics with a blend of whispered vulnerability and defiant grit. The chorus swells subtly, layering in faint electric guitar accents and a pulsing bassline, creating a restrained but anthemic lift. Clocking in at just under four minutes, the song’s stripped-down production and deliberate pacing let each note breathe, making it a compelling, introspective listen.
