I feel this is the way true trance is mixed at it's core. Not only does each track build and tell a story, but that's what you did with yiour overall arrangement. A Trance DJ through and through. I wouldn't want to follow you on a trance line up!!! Respect!

5 Track Challenge

This mix is part of a 5 traxx challenge through the Club Ready Tribe private Facebook page. Each person participating in this challenge is given the exact same 5 track to mix with, in any order, and then they are given feedback on their set. Each person in the group is learning to DJ through the Club Ready DJ School, run by the only Andrew Duffield :).

I have only been messing about with the decks for the last few months now, and only just learnt about phrasing! This mix has a first for a few things for me! First time doing a set incorporating 'phrasing' (well I hope so anyway lol).  First time using hot/memory cues, and first time using the loop function! All the while still trying the get the hang of bettering my transitions using the EQ! Still a got a lot to learn and very little practicing time, but I absolutely LOVED doing this challenge.. even though this was like my 5th attempt haha!!!
