In the third episode, we discuss the notion of desire: what kind of desire motivates our work? How can we produce new desires? What happens when our desires dry out? Our conversations are accompanied by a reading session of “Deleuze, Schizoanalyst” by Suely Rolnik, a Brazilian author dealing with a remote geographical and cultural context.

Suely Rolnik, psychoanalyst, curator and cultural critic, is a professor at the Catholic University of São Paulo, where she founded the Subjectivity Studies Centre in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. With Félix Guattari, she is author of Micropolítica. Cartografias do desejo (1986), published in five languages.

In the fourth episode, we are joined by Danish-Iranian literary critic Nazila Kivi to speak about fables in Shahrnush Parsipur’s “Women Without Men.” In the second half of the episode, we revisit our childhood memories during an interactive workshop.
