The passion and dedication to the genre Psytrance began in 2003. Firstly on the dance floor, then as DJ Trip and now, coming into his own, as a Psytrance music producer. Based in the concrete jungle of Johannesburg, South Africa he made his mark as a DJ and promoter of artists under the production company label, Psychotic Productions. Frozen Ghost and Hiyarant oF MMD Records were booked for his Psychotic Productions party in 2008, They were booked as individual artists and together as Dirty Motion, prior to their tour to Japan, Subsequently he was invited to Cape Town to complete an intense course in Cubase SX 3, under the tutelage of Frozen Ghost and Hiyarant of Disaster Piece Records late in 2008. He has since forged his own unique sound, influenced heavily by the style of Archive and Zion Liguist of MMD Records to name but a few, who have had an influence on his unique sound of night time psytrance..

Following a long association with Lyle, AKA Archive, the mind manipulator, of MMD records, he has released a track on their long awaited Digital Breed Volume 5 VA.

Synthetic Alkaloid's passion and dedication to psytrance continues unabated,, watch this space.......
