Reinstated is a new series from Metamorphic created to release music from Dan Curtin that has been previously released but only in very limited fashion on various compilations.  These tracks have never available digitally and most likely not heard by many apart from those who may have purchased the original compilations.  In the 90s CD compilations were very popular and many tracks have only been released on these compilations but nowhere else since that time.  Each volume will feature obscure tracks by Dan from some of these compilations, and Reinstated Volume 1 will showcase the following:  “Debris” was originally released in the 90s on the Fragmented Records compilation, Fragmented Records Vol 1, “Migration” was originally released in the early 90s on the compilation 3rd Side of The Record and “Migration (Config 2) has never been released until now. Finally, “Round Trip” was also released in the early 90s on the Volume Records compilation Trance Atlantic.  None of these tracks have seen the light of day since the early 90s and we are thrilled to bring these back out in digital format today.  Each release will be accompanied by a limited addition brushed aluminum print featuring the release artwork, available for separate purchase.

This month, we have a two hour recording of a session of over four hours that I did with a good friend and a great musician; Paul Smith better known as Leonid. We had the pleasure of sharing the booth again, this time at Nuevo Montacargas.

Leonid is an Irish producer who has been based in Madrid for a few years now. If he is not releasing records on labels like Statik Entertainment, Sistrum Recordings, Dolly Records, Lunar Disko Records, Photic Fields, Freebeat, Eleve, D1 Recordings and more, Leonid is playing in the best places in Europe like Berghain (Berlin), Tresor (Berlin) and more clubs in France, Croatia, Greece, Spain and of course Ireland.

This two hour session is focused on styles such as acid ambient, bleep, electro, house and techno with the softer side of these genres explored from the booth.
