A lifelong music fan born in Birmingham UK, inspired by the tastes of an elder sister’s record collection and a redundant box valve radio tuned into Radio Luxembourg in the evenings and the BBC in the mornings before school - happy days!

Picked up a Spanish guitar in the mid 70’s and never really let it go

Played bass and sang in bands around Birmingham, mainly original compositions influenced by the rock and rnb bands of the day - great fun but eventually gave way to late night acoustic noodling as family commitments grew

Have since played cafe jazz and classic rock covers in various bands but always drawn to the potential of translating thoughts and emotion into rhythm and melody, a passion I now have a more time to explore and grow
