I wrote this song about 4 years ago when I was in college, oddly enough the initial melody coming from a dream. I remember it was a sunny spring afternoon and I took a nap and proceeded to have one of the most vivid dreams I'm sure I will ever have, as it felt like I lived an entire lifetime through the course of it. When the dream was reaching its conclusion I remember floating up into space to view the landscape and scenery, only to discover there was also band of other worldly beings playing music down below - this was the song they were playing.

Life is crazy... but there is one thing you can count on, and that’s H0le 4 2 by Sam and the Fire Watchers. With the humble message of falling into a hole, this songs looks to go deeper and metaphorically represents the fact that sometimes going through your darkest times can lead you to your true destiny. Co-written in 2012 by front man Sam Bland and lead guitarist Rick Garcia, Bland is quoted as saying “Once I heard the guitar part Rick wrote for this song I knew it had that timeless feel we were going for. 8 years later I still think it’s one of our greatest hits.” Bland and Garcia currently have a multitude of projects going, including music, art and film.
