"the art letting go". 2022 has been quite the rollercoaster of a year. heartbreak at every "chance encounter". my sister said one thing that has since stuck with me, which is "there is no greater pain then having to mourn someone who's still alive". heavy right? read it again and this time feel the weight of that statement. healing is a process and you don't owe the progress of it to anyone else but yourself. eye had to learn to love myself, again and understand "there's beauty in letting go". and, when eye decided to let go, eye was stuck with the question of "how", what is the remedy for a broken heart? so, eye decided to let my ink bleed all over Goapele's Closer, a classic RnB/Soul song with production that has been calling me for quite some time. people are in your life for a reason, someday you'll get to a point whereby you'll have to let go and that's when you'll understand the beauty of letting go, no matter how hard it is. The December Derail continues.
