"Listen Like A Dog...and Make Your Mark on the World" is the theme song accompanying the book by the same title and the premise that we can all make a difference in the lives of others by listening. Humans have many barriers to true connection and don't know how to listen like a dog can; by giving us undivided attention, not interrupting us or judging us. In fact, dogs don't understand our attachment to our "smart" devices. Jeff Lazarus is a leadership coach who teaches strategy, customer engagement, selling and relationship building through workshops, consulting  and keynotes in a variety of industries such as Healthcare, Human Resources, real estate, and law.  Jeff has an MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from Cal State University, Long Beach. For two decades,  Jeff was a Health Science Consultant with Merck & Co., crafting effective customer engagement and leading workshops on listening.  Out of his love and observations of how dogs are great listeners, Jeff developed workshops and a companion book entitled Listen Like a Dog...and Make Your Mark on the World that teaches everyone the importance of listening over talking to deliver better customer service, product development, sales strategies, health and wellness care and other applicable opportunities.
