my name is Ricky and I started writing at an early age of 16 years old. I wrote my first song on a piano at that age. it really wasn't that good, haha. but I started really writing poetry and after many poems I decided I would like to hear what it would sound like converted to music. so I taught myself how to play the guitar and I started learning different chords and was able to start putting some music to my poems. it wasn't until the year 2001 I bought an electric piano and I rededicated myself to my music. I actually wrote about 30 songs in 30 days. most of them just words without music yet. but that is where I wrote most of the music I have here online right now. I am now 64 years old but still loving my music and playing my music for others because I believe it has a message and most people say it makes them feel relaxed. I don't write very much these days however I do still write some poetry. it's good for the mind and the heart to put your thoughts on paper. and make them sound good by rhyming. thanks to whoever listen to my music I appreciate it very much I hope you enjoy.
