Mystery

When life does crazy things to us, how can we come back to knowing Jesus closely?  Where is our hope anchored?  And what is the Holy Spirit really for?

Running Our Best Race

The bible has plenty to say about praying, teaching, and gathering together - but have you ever wondered why we sing?  What hymns might Jesus have sung before he died?  Is singing new songs important when we have old ones?  Should secular music be a part of our worship?

In this talk Leon zooms in on key verses from Psalms that Jesus would have sung many times in his life, unpacking how they can help us today if we do the same.  Life doesn't often respect that we have just had a great moment with God, so how can music light our hearts in the face of difficulties?  Does the intent of the song writer matter more than the intent of the worshipper?  
Leon encourages us to grasp something of eternity by gathering and singing as we will one day do together with the angels in the light.
