The song is about the heartbreaking realisation that a relationship is over but you don't want to hurt the other person, and desperately want them to be ok when you part.  Creating the track was heartbreaking but cathartic.  Bubbles Burst was brought to life in the studio using layers of strings to capture the spectrum of emotion behind the song. The song and album drop Aug 4th.

Snows Of Yesteryear further explore the landscapes and emotional lore of Scotland in their forthcoming, eponymous debut album, recorded with Mattie Foulds (Karine Polwart, Eliza Carthy, Aidan O’Rourke, Kris Drever) at Castlesound Studios, and scheduled for release in Summer 2023.
