Founded by Jonathan Kribus aka Kribs and Miles Pinkert in February 2020, InstinktLab is an independent label for timeless techno, ambient and experimental music. The label limits its public appearance to a minimum. By now they released 8 EPs [including this one] from very ambitious artists. An event series in Cologne is also pending.

Hi, I’m Vkn.modular, a techno producer and DJ. I focus on a style of techno that’s mostly hypnotic and dark.
I was born in Guadeloupe. As a child, I was immersed in the music of my island — gwoka, zouk, and biguine.
In my teenage years, I found those same feelings of rhythm and trance in techno music. I instantly fell in love with this genre of electronic music.
I’ve also been influenced by other musical styles like rap, metal, and jazz.

Today, I simply let myself be guided by my musical roots, which continue to inspire the way I produce and perform.
