Idk I can't be for sure who it was I was sleeping they got my ass three times I know of last year before I got smart and stopped sleeping really deep I basically picture myself floating on my back in the water but there's a rope tied around my ankle and it's tied off to a small wooden dock and right there next to the shore is where I rest in a big fresh water lake and if I can't sleep I watch the ducks walk by with chicks 🐣 in a row behind them eager to learn vulnerable worse than us but resilient and I feel for fish swimming under me and try to get a grab of there tail fin casually as I float there slimy bodies somehow relieving me in the short period of time they accidentally brush there body against mine and then there's geese but there's dogs that stay around the lake and for some reason geese are extremely vulnerable to the canine prowess so I listen to them shred the goose and embrace the feeling of gratitude I get when I think to myself I'm glad that's not me today I'm neatly tied off to my dock floating like it was heaven patience is my gait as I wait not knowing what I'm looking forward but I'm steadfast in my knowledge my inherent knowledge that the world has something in store for me and either way I'm gonna have to face whatever it is sure I can run but I'm tired of outrunning the world I just want to float right now
