Samhain- Hybrid

This is My submission for the 2020 Cymatics King of Beats remix competition. Working from within the Oracle production pack provided by Cymatics, the hardest choice was which sample to use. 
LoFi and instrumental Hip Hop isnt my usual Genre of choice when it comes to my main productions, however its definitely one of my favorites Genres to work within.
I'll definately be mixing an extended version in the future and may look to collaborate with any lyracists who vibe with it.

Delphi

Just a cheeky MiniMix of two tracks i'm working on at the moment. The first track entitled Gelach refers to the ancient Gaelic word for Moon; this is a contrast of the latter entitled Sulis Aka Minerva (goddess of the Sun)which is much brighter and upbeat...even though they use the same drums, the same Bassline and the same vocal FX...Just in different ways.
It was originally one song but with the stark difference which grew and grew, it felt better to be two different songs; but they work well in the mix!!!

Gelach/Sulis

Bit of a journey, some pretty peaceful Instrumental Hip hop to vibe too.

Dreamer

Thought id share something i'm working on at the moment. this is the first project where ive used my toy Serum! turns out its a bit tasty in all...
This dub's made for the 3 elements challenge hosted by BTK, basically make a tune with the free samples provided by them and it has to stick to a fairly traditional DnB template; Aside from the drums (which have a fair amount going on) thus far ive only used three samples which I ripped through serum, basically making custom patches out of them. I'll probally wind up using a few more once FX cuts but nothing too crazy.
 This has been a wicked project to work on for me personally; I got to put a ton of things ive been learning into practice, took Serum for a test drive and learned a few new things in the process :) 
Really open to any ideas or advice anyone has about this one as its still properly in the production phase, blast it on all the systems you can and let me know how it sounds in the comments.

Samhain is an independent Artist with a deep rooted love of DnB, Nuerofunk, Techstep and Jungle. On here you'll find music stretching from the literal beginning of my little plunge into production...from around two years ago when I'm just discovering what an earth a compressor is...too today; where I'm fairly certain what a compressor is...fairly.
