We are very excited to return after a brief summer break! After releasing 20 EPs and 1 Various Artist Compilation in our short history so far, we mark our return with a stunning collection of Various Artist singles in Allies II.

We welcome back returning artists to the label such as AlexC, Schön & Sturm along with newcomers Gav Easby, Dokk and Baphömental. 

Furthermore, we are introducing 3 students to the scene from our academy. Our Label Founder, Aves Volare, has been mentoring ambitious music makers in his Aviary Music Production School through 1-on-1 tuition. He has assisted Mode B(AUS), TØMII & DJRMC to complete their first ever tracks, which they proudly showcase in this beautiful compilation of Progressive House and Melodic Techno music.

With 'Kult' we welcome The DARA to ICONYC Noir. She treats us with a brand-new track that oozes class and sophistication. 'Kult' features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody deep house vibes to satisfy ambient, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release.

The DARA opens proceedings with his smashing original mix. Her musical development is in full swing, interspersed subtle effective percussion, accompanied by profound floaty grooves and indie influences lead the way. Utilizing the hypnotizing groove, underpinned by a rumbling bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown, before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect.

The first remix comes courtesy of Arnaud Cordova & Julian Rodriguez; which hits all the right chords from the word go. The duo's deep entry merged the roomy glowing drive, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully led into a drop full of tension and excitement, while the understated yet driving bassline powers the groove along. They manage to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. Essential stuff from Arnaud & Julian.

For the second rework we welcome Norwegian producer Narik to ICONYC Noir for his debut. His unique act and emotional creations carry quite a large scope. They are not afraid to explore esoteric or introspective themes and the end result is always a compelling one. Such is the case with their remix of 'Kult', which carries many of his most loved production hallmarks. From a warm, meaty low end to atmospherics and an effects storyboard to get lost in, there is certainly a lot to like. The main break is perhaps the high point, with the mood shifting from emotive to ominous with effortless ease. It's something you rarely see and they pulled it off beautifully here.

The DARA's 'Kult' shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful deep melodic release will leave you with many smile induced moments! Not to be missed

Superfriends is the new label from Andhim; a label that captures the pair’s charm and ebullience, not only from their past releases but also serves as a stylistic trajectory to date; one that has moved from gentle eclecticism through infinite fun into a refined and contagiously unique electronic sound.

Andhim have over the last decade cultivated an exceptionally loyal fan base of musical lovers and peers alike; that continue to crave the German pairs musical agility and action packed forays.

Superfriends is far from a obvious tick in andhim’s career “to do list” but a strong clue that they are capably poised to continue their anti-intellectualism approach to everything they do.

The international colours of andhim continue to reach all corners of the dance floor focusing less on the narrative and more on the big and fun– Superfriends is set to be an outlet for the production/DJ duo’s most ambitious ideas. An independent exercise in only the finest studio output from themselves but those that inspire, influence and impress.

The first release “Tosch EP” is pristine in production and devoid of existing label noise, where powerfully subtle melodies can sit side by side with immersive dance floor heavy electronic music.

“Tosch EP” signals the pairs desire to remain multifaceted in approach and DIY in execution while also slowly revealing the imagination behind it. The culmination of an intensely creative career to date; andhim brandish a variety tonal ideas that include spacious, diversified and unforced melodies that capture the emotion displayed in the DJ booth.
