And when going to America, a big part of that experience has been connected to the people around Interdimensional Transmissions and The Bunker NY. While we couldn’t be together in person, I was very glad to be part of Samhain XX streaming online. The set was recorded at my home in Tokyo, but I tried to play how I might have played if I was with everyone in Detroit. Tony Allen was a maestro. His torso wouldn’t move when he played the drums. He never hit hard, his speciality was extreme subtlety. He played the drums on "La Ritournelle" in one take, then he had to pick up his kid at school!
