This weeks upload is a special live recording from the recent Disc Break Radio launch party at Eastern Bloc Records in Manchester that we DJ’d at alongside local favourite Yadava.

He provides us with an all vinyl hour of eclectic, but dancefloor-focused selections. His set had us moving from the very first record - Venus (Sunshine People) by Cheek released back in 1996. 

We were excited to meet Yadava in Manchester, knowing his productions on the likes of High Praise London, Omena Records and Seb Wildbloods Church label. 

We now have an appreciation for the sheer breadth of his work, across production, DJing, Radio presenting and running nights in Manchester. Go check out his music and parties.

Marco Ohboy is a Berlin based DJ with a Mediterranean soul. He's enthusiast of disco, house and electronic music. 

One of the co-founders of the community web radio rbl.media his sets are journeys towards the groovy beats he is inspired by. 

The mixtape for The Disco Express starts with an edit of one of his favourite Italian songs, blending into boogie vibes to build up a new disco and house music selection. Marco Ohboy had the chance to showcase his music vision on Refuge Worldwide Radio in Berlin, The Lot Radio in Brooklyn, NYC, East Side Radio in Lisbon, Radio Raheem in Milan and on the Kiosk Radio in Brussels.
