My son is the biggest factor for where this track came from. As a single father/producer, I find myself hearing melodies and vibes in my head being able to watch my child grow up. It's all very nostalgic. This track is how it feels to me driving him to school, to soccer practice. It will be raining outside and while in the car we'll talk about everything. All of our major convos together happen in the car. The sample in the beginning is my son when he was 3 years old asking me how clouds work.

A Child's Dream

I started writing this track when my son came into my life. He was 3 years old and if you can imagine, it shocked me in every way possible. After plenty of therapy and coming to terms with it all, I jumped into fatherhood head first and haven't looked back since. 'Here We Go' is the vibe of how it all felt jumping in and has continued to feel.
