Taking a brief respite from the upcoming zine launch, SMUT Press is beyond thrilled to announce Lovecat as the sixteenth mix in our SMUT mix series.  Lovecat is the former alias of Expresso and moniker of London-based legend Martina. As well as founder of Arize, one of London’s freshest club-nights championing her cheekily titled “Tr4nnyT3k” sound, Lovecat has been rapidly assuming position as one of the scene’s most exciting sounds with the most beloved looks. Recent gigs at 2c-perrea and Riposte as well as in Leeds for Rat Party showcasing this talented selector’s prowess,  expect to hear lots from her over the next while.  This one is really for the girls with the boomin system -  hard and fast techno cuts, reggaeton and power pop edits. You can catch Lovecat at Dalston Superstore on May 7th for Female Trouble. VIBRACIONES - A Colombian DJ/producer, fire performer, and transdisciplinary artist whose passion for music transcends genres and artistry. Within half a year, they have made a name for themself in the Miami scene with raving club sets and mixes as well as with their up and coming party series FUNRAVER. They specialize in open format with a penchant for cunty beats, experimental techno, and bouncy trance. They are a resident on Miami Community Radio, have been featured on Hong Kong Community Radio, and are a founding member of the non-profit Change The Beat, which platforms femmes onto big-time record labels.
