A song for the siblings!
Growing up my brother always had my back, sure we had our differences, but that’s life. Being 3 years younger, I looked up to him, he was my role model and I wanted to be like him. As we got older, I knew I could lean on him in times of need. He is, and always will be my best friend.
‘Brother’ is an intimately honest song that reflects on life growing up with an older bro. Having someone there to pave the way is special, and something I am forever grateful for.

'Finer Things In Life' is written about living on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We are blessed to be surrounded by picturesque mountain ranges, wide open spaces and golden beaches. Finer Things was particularly inspired by cruising the streets of Coolum Beach and is an ode to doing the things you love! We hope you enjoy :-)

MUFASSA is your typical laid-back Aussie nomad, travelling the country for the past 7 years with a guitar on his back. Originally from the Sunny Coast, he has established himself in all corners of the country as a talented multi-instrumentalist and gifted songwriter. 

MUFASSA's music is a blend of easy-going roots & reggae splashed with happiness. His style is deeply rooted in the sounds of the Australian countryside, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty and easy-going way of life that characterizes this unique land.

With two studio EPs under his belt (reaching no.3 and 5 on the National AMRAP Regional Charts) MUFASSA is touring his third EP throughout the Spring and Summer of 2023. 

MUFASSA's live performances are renowned for their energy and raw emotion, as he effortlessly switches between guitar, percussion, and harmonica. He is a gifted storyteller, weaving personal anecdotes and tales of the land into his music.

In recent years, MUFASSA has embraced the travelling lifestyle, floating between Southwest WA & the Sunny Coast of QLD, where he continues to perform and record new music. He has a dedicated fanbase and his coastal roots music continues to resonate with audiences of all ages. MUFASSA is a true original, and his music is a reflection of the unique spirit of Australia.

THE BAND: Sun soaked 'Coastal-Roots’ groovers MUFASSA & The Pride always bring the lush summer vibes with a smile. Drenched in dance floor rhythms, they mix traditional reggae influences with classic 70's surf tones, lots of brass and bulk vocal harmonies, hinting to the likes of Mike Love, Paul Simon and Bobby Alu. 

MUFASSA IN THE COMMUNITY:
An ambassador for YouTurn Youth Support (Sunshine Coast), MUFASSA is at the grassroots level raising awareness and support for youth mental health, volunteering his time to inspire the next generation.

Since 2020, MUFASSA has been facilitating music workshops and events up in the Gulf Country of Queensland.

‘Life In The Left Hand Lane’ EP(Easy-Listening, Acoustic)- 2018

I’ve been working on this EP the past few years as I travelled around Australia with my family in our caravan. The many long roads and remote landscapes provided ample time for reflection and creativity. 

Each song has been recorded with my good friend and mentor, Brian Goodworth at Big Rock Studio’s (Mount Coolum) on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, my home. Aside from the banjo parts, I recorded each instrument and vocal on this EP, something that I am extremely proud of!

“Music forms the soul of our community, it tells stories, shares knowledge, inspires us and brings people together through some of the most honest and vulnerable self-expressions. Without music, we lose those exceptionally unique experiences that fuel our lifelong memories and connections. Now more than ever, music is an invaluable asset to our health and wellbeing, as individuals and as a collective!” 
This EP is my contribution of healing to the world, our community!
