Subsquad Prod. présente le quatrième volet de sa série de compilation, les CITY SQUAD, qui mettent en lumière une ville et ses artistes avec des morceaux exclusifs, le tout en téléchargement libre.
Après Bordeaux, Grenoble et Marseille/Aix, ce nouvel opus présente 15 artistes de Lille et alentours. Vous pouvez également découvrir, sur la page dédiée sur notre site internet, la liste des Sound Systems locaux ainsi qu'un court historique du Dub dans la région.

Subsquad Prod present the fourth part of our serie of compilation, the CITY SQUAD. Each part will present the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of exclusive tunes that will be available for free download.

After Bordeaux, Grenoble and Marseille/Aix, this new part is dedicated to Lille and her neighborhood, and presents 15 producers from this area. You can also discover, on our website, a list of local Sound Systems and a short historic of Dub in this department.

Début 2015, SwitchyDub sort son premier opus «Birth» en auto-promotion, un an plus tard et fort de ces 25.000 écoutes, SwitchyDub vous présente son nouveau projet musical intitulé : 
«Anti-gel»

Né aux confins de la Nièvre, entouré par une nature verdoyante, le contraste entre la vie urbaine et celle de la campagne est à l’origine de ce 6 titres.

Arsenic, Anti-gel, Corrosion, Anhydride, Mutagene et Hydroxyde, titres des chansons, sont entre autres des éléments ou composés chimiques de la rouille, symbole de l'immobilisme et de la décomposition.
Quoi de plus naturel alors que d’intitulé cet opus «Anti-gel», parfait antonyme de ces symboles.

Le tempo de cet opus fait aussi parti de cette approche, ne décrochant pas du 150 bpm celui-ci entraîne le pas de l’auditeur dans une danse effrénée qui l’emmènera jusqu’au dernier morceau.

Autodidacte, SwitchyDub est imprégné par la scène hardtech (TNT, InfraBass, Spiral) mais aussi des groupes tels que Zenzile ou HighTone)

Après un live au Glazart (Paris) en compagnie de Yayoland, Art-x &, Barbes B, un showcase pour Gueret2dub, la date InaDubSèvre sur le sound système Shamani, SwitchyDub continue à défendre son projet scénique à travers la France.

Mélangeant passages harddub et envoutant, SwitchyDub espère par cet opus, apporter sa touche au courant musical Stepper et ravir vos oreilles par ses sonorités.

In late 2015 after successfully releasing our first 7" and 10" we decided to release this long time Dubplate played by just a few Soundsystems worldwide and championed by Iration Steppas called Brixton by Violinbwoy. Slow, heavy and rough dub that made all the people crazy in the dance. Of course we sent Mark Iration more mixes and he rinsed them hard. Release was a big success and was repressed few years later. 
Now is the time for those Dubplate mixes! 
Cut in Brixton, SW2 London, UK to transparent polyvinyl.
Sounding crisp and heavy as usual.
