Benjamin puts the "jammin'" in "Benjamin."

Lonely Night is a song I wrote several years ago while in Canada's Arctic north. It carries layers of meaning for me and I hope it can for you as well.

Spent a few days in the sunny south and I think that may have had something to do with the inspiration behind this song.

My friend Deiter Wiese (click on his link here to hear more of his music) and I co-wrote this song. We happened to be staying at the same place in Inuvik on night and were discussing songs to cover for an upcoming gig. We commented on how many "Hank" country singers there used to be and suddenly the idea of "Guys Named Hank" was born. 

SO while dinner cooked we created and came up with this tune. Deiter has a recording of it as well more in a bluesy style which I love. My style tends more toward dirty alt country and so here is my version.

I've been taking a course from a wonderful website called songtown.com. This course provides the student with a track and its a wide open world to topline over. 

This is I Fall. 

I came up with this today while listening to this track. 
I just record my lyrics on garageband on my ipad with earbuds lol. I do my best with volume levels etc but its a bit rough.

Also this is my first ever attempt at laying in a bit of rap! I've always wanted to.

Under A Midnight Sun (Terri-Lynn's Song)

This song was written as a response to the idea that with the rise of automated, self-driving vehicles one day cowboys would be crying as they lost not only the predictable wives, dogs, friends etc...but now even Chevy drives away. A sad future indeed. Or maybe cowboys could consider not being such a**hats and they wouldn't be left alone...food for thought.
