I produced this version of a traditional English Wassail song. Released December 21, 2016

 The tradition of Wassail is Anglo-Saxon, and is meant as a blessing song, to the health of the householders to whom the song is sung. There is an expectation of reciprocity implicit in the tradition; in exchange for the blessing, the house holders will share food and drink with the peasant classes offering the song. Wassail songs exemplify the spirit of generosity and giving that I so love about the holiday season! May we all be blessed with abundance of all kinds, and share it freely with one another!

Gower Wassail--Sharon Knight (Production and Mixing)

This is my mix/production of the song Home by folk pop band Avec. I added bass and a wee bit of guitar in the choruses, and created an additional vocal harmony by using Melodyne on a copy of the lead vocals. There is also a boatload of verb and an Autofilter on the melodica which kind of makes it sound like a pad. Mixed in Studio One for the Lewitt mixing contest called #LewittMusicChallenge
