THE SOUND OF: MYTHON

The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

After an exceptional and well-received collaborative EP with Tina Ramamurthy on Amotik 014 earlier in 2024, Amotik picks up where he left off and delivers four sublime solo works for Amotik 015. His self-titled imprint, running since 2015, has been a steady home base for his own productions, quickly becoming an essential catalogue in modern techno. Here, once again, he delivers a full pack of pure techno jams. Whether it’s the swinging percussion hooks in ‘Assi’, the hypnotic groove of ‘Unnasi’, or the banging kick drums of ‘Ikyasi’, this is yet another essential release for every techno enthusiast.

Diana Franco is a techno DJ and producer. Recognized for her streamlined story-telling and trippy soundscapes, Diana's style blends emotional depth with captivating energy.

Though relatively new to the craft, she has dedicated herself to daily production sessions, rapidly refining her unique sound while drawing inspiration from like-minded artists in the scene. Her DJ sets are immersive journeys where she weaves dynamic narratives through seamless transitions that blend dark, fast-paced, and hypnotic grooves with deep, sophisticated sonic textures that captivate the dance floor.

As a member of E-HRZN Records, Diana is dedicated to uncovering new artists and pushing the boundaries of underground techno. With her passion for rhythm and connection, Diana Franco is carving her path toward making a lasting impact on the global stage.

Promising label newcomer IGLO returns to Figure with his second EP this year, building on a distinct sonic identity shaped by a background in classical music and live performance. Across five tracks, he further refines his mix of atmospheric depth, precise rhythms, and melodic nuance.
This time, his own voice takes on a more central role, adding a personal and expressive layer to the productions. On opener Computed Love, restrained, longing vocals blend into squelchy synths and minimal grooves — hauntingly beautiful, yet gritty with rumbling machine funk. Determined follows with a more menacing tone, its sharp percussion cutting through a bleak, shadowy atmosphere — perfect for building tension on the floor.
On the flip, IGLO switches up the mood: Enter the State runs on hypnotic loops and chopped-up piano riffs, peppered with cheeky, spoken-word style vocals that nod to ghetto house traditions. It breaks into an irresistible, swinging groove that hits with full force.
Offering a smooth counterpoint, Enlighten drifts into dubby terrain. Soft, ricocheting vocal snippets and warm chords conjure a hopeful, human glow — a bouncy balm for the soul, without losing its forward momentum.
Digital bonus track Find Yourself closes the EP on a spacious, almost sci-fi note — twinkling synths and airy melodies float above crisp textures, like a breath of fresh air at the end of a long night.With X49, IGLO deepens his connection with Figure and sharpens his unique voice — equally grounded in introspection and dancefloor impact, continuing to shape a sound that’s thoughtful, bold, and marks him as one to watch.
